  • Old friends are the greatest friends...

Last weekend, my lil sis from sorority who was also one of my bridesmaids came to visit us from Socal!  Miss Courtney is the young, vivacious, cute and not to mention one of the sweetest gals in my life; One of the best things that came out of joining a sorority is to gain such a great friend for life.

We took Court on the normal Norcal San Jose itineary of visiting Santana Row..hahah..sorry, our life isn't too eventful here. I think I have taken ALL of my Socal friends to Santana Row when they come to visit. Anyway, it was a great time spending some quality time catching up. On top of that, her thoughtful boyfriend treated us to a pedicure session in Santana Row.  Yippee!!! He scored some major brownie pts with me. hehee

Here are some pictures of our weekend..by the way, Enzo just LOVED spending time with aunti Court. In fact, they became BFFs...hahah

Then my little monster wanted to give me a kiss......instead he tried to eat my lips. hahaha...Enzo sure doesn't know how to pucker his lips for kisses yet.

Like my title said, Old friends are the greatest friends....on the same topic, two of my favorite people and closest friends are Mr. & Mrs. Ting. We are tied from our parents days and i am so fortunate to have them in our lives. We love our Ting family. Thankfully, they also took the time out to do a photo session of our growing family. Unfortunately, Enzo didn't get to take his afternoon nap before the shoot, so he was fuzzing mid way through. But regardless, I am just glad we got some pictures of Bucket in my belly...since I have been not so good at taking pictures with this pregnancy.

Here are some sneak peak from the photog's assistant's (mrs. Ting) pt of view....

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ME! Enzo is 15 months..

Happy Birthday to ME!  Yay..I am another year older...

Sorry that I have been so behind on my postings; my postings will be scarce but you can be rest assured that it will be full of pictures and videos that sum up some lost times.

To Start: Enzo is 15 months!

Enzo is already 15 months and upon celebrating his 15 months birthday, I chose to wean him off the bottle. How? you ask.....well, Cold Turkey! Enzo usually drinks about 24 ounces of milk throughout the whole day and drinks perfectly well and speedy from his bottle. I am one of those moms that don't like to see her kids dependent on anything or anyone. Hence, no pacifiers, no "lovelys", and now, no bottle. I just didn't want to see him walking around with a bottle at like 3 years old. Anyway, so I stopped giving him the bottle and that monster for the life of him, will NOT drink out of the sippy cup, or straw cup with milk. He will drink his water and juice perfectly fine out of the straw cup, but with milk, once he sees the color is different he will just turn his head and push away the cup.

So as you can imagine, he does not drink as much milk as he used to with a bottle...matter of fact, hardly any milk! So as a typical mom, I would supplement by making oatmeal in the morning with milk about (5oz) then in the afternoon feed him his fruits with milk (4oz spoon feed). So, total, he gets about 10 oz of milk throughout the day. In addition, I tried to feed him mac and cheese, with yogurt to supplement the calcium that he is missing.  Moms out there, any advice or tips you can give...I'd greatly appreciate it!

    Mother's Day!

Mother's Day was calm and charming. Daddy brought home the obligatory flowers for me the day before, and on sunday we went to check out downtown campbell. It was such a hot and nice day! We had brunch at Aqui's, and were seated outdoors enjoying people watching and the music. Of course, across the street, another restaurant had ballons tied to the chairs and with Enzo screaming "Ball, Ball"! repeatedly, I had to run across the street and ask for a complmentary ballon to calm down the monster.

Here's me Mother's day with Baby Girl at almost 7 months!

    My 31st Birthday !!

We celebrated my birthday (the day before) with a casual lunch date with our close friends. My dear friend lulu was in town for a family wedding and was able to join and celebrate the birthday luncheon with us! Yay! It was the icing on the cake! Since I haven't seen Lulu since her wedding in Sept..it was great to see my homegirl celebrating with me!

On my actual birthday Sunday, it was a quiet day with lunch and house hunting. But as always, the house hunting turns out to be noneventful and daddy made me a special dessert after our home cooked birthday meal. Thanks babe!

Here we are at the restaurant...

  • 14 months....BALL!

Enzo is already 14 months.....eeks! 4 more months and little sister will be here....it's exciting and nerve wrecking at the same time. Many people warn us that once the 2nd one comes, there's no more "tag team" or "rotate" duties anymore...  It's ok....it will be a GOOD crazy time for us..... we welcome it!

Enzo is very active and is definitely developing his "boyish" skills with climbing over furnitures, crawling between gaps, and walking pretty swiftly lately. He hasn't developed more vocabularies however I feel he understands what we are saying to him most of the time...even though he may not always "obey" whenver we say.."NO!".

Here are some pictures of Enzo from last few weeks on a sunday morning while feeding him breakfast and daddy taking some shots of him.

I would have to say, his REAL first word (besides mama and dada) is BALL. I believe that's the first word that he ACTUALLY really knows what it means and pronounces it perfectly (I know, BALLis not a difficult word to say anyway). He LOVES LOVES playing with balls, all sizes and all colors. He loves picking it up and throwing it away, and repeat.  Here's just a quick snapshot of some of the ball toys he has...

Enzo also finds it "funny" that I have a big belly. Whenever he is laying on me, he likes to see my belly by pushing up my shirt to show the belly. He will look at it and smile...pat it or even sometimes if we say, "kiss kiss"..he will lean over and give my belly a kiss. I think its cute...until he shouts.."BALL!" at my belly.

Enzo also LOVES ballons. I mean LOVE LOVE ballons. Whereever we go, whether its in the mall, on the street or even when he sits in the car and we drive by places (car dealership) and ballons are out..he gets so exited and just shouts..."BALL, BALL" and any other gibberish to show how excited and how much he wants the ballons. One of the cutest things is within one of his many books that we "read" to him, his favorite is a page from "Oh My! Oh My! Oh Dinosaurs!". Within this page, it's a picture of cartoon drawings of a group of dinosaurs holding ballons. As you can imagine, he will flip to the page every time and just giggles and coos with all smiles looking at the page with ballons.  Here's a video...

Enzo got a ballon from his cousin, Stephannie's birthday party.....he LOVES ballons.

Enzo also experienced his FIRST park experience playing with the swing and going down the slide. I think he was more busy checking out other people than enjoying his swing...

My dear friend, Amanda was in town for the Britney concert in San Jose. We had a chance to meet up with her, christina, rei and irene, olivia and kevin for dinner at Cheesecake. It was a good time just chatting about baby and motherhood with them..I hope they join the club soon! Here's some pictures from the evening.

  • 13 months and 3 weeks_Enzo's new hair

It's been a while since I posted....and I am feeling guilty for not posting more about Baby Bucket. Sorry, with Enzo being sick last week and then me getting sick again...it's already hard to keep up with the household. Sigh.

Nevertheless, Enzo got a new hair cut! Enzo's hair was getting pretty long, the sides are hitting his ears which is probably why he is constantly touching his ears to keep those darn hair from tickling his ear. So, we made an attempt to make a reservation at a local Kids barber shop 2 weeks ago but once we walked in, we saw kids after kids sitting in their toy car seats and just bawling their eyes out.  We felt so bad for the kids and honestly the haircut each child was receiving was very "bowl cut"ish...that we just didn't like to put Enzo through that torture. Wing looked at me and said..."let's get out of here..I think I can cut his hair myself". So 5 seconds after we checked in with the receptionist, we turned back to him and said, "sorry, we changed our minds."

Before Enzo got his haircut by daddy, we thought to play with his hair and give him some stylin' over the weekend when we met up with our friends. Here's a pic to show his cool hairstyle.

So anyway, daddy gave Enzo's his 2nd haircut..and it turned out great! I really have to give daddy props for doing such a great job. Although its nothing stylish but all the lengths are evenly and proportionally cut. Too bad I don't have pics to show you the after, but you can sort of see it here where Enzo's wearing blue and in the video.

  • Baby Bucket. It's a......

     GIRL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YIPPEEE!!! I am gonna have my Lil Girl!!!  I can't wait to buy girlie dresses for the little china doll.

Ok, to be honest, I really didn't think Baby Bucket is a Girl., this whole time, I just kept thinking that its a Boy. I was actually perfectly fine with that idea because it just means, we will have #3 at some point! hehehe. Yes, I told Wing that even if #2 was a boy, we have to try for #3 for that girl.  Either way, I would've been very happy for a healthy baby, because I would've liked many kids anyway. Now, #3 is only optional, not a requirement. hehee

Well, I haven't been as diligent as I was while pregnant with nugget by taking weekly pictures. However, for the announcement of our baby girl, I thought I'd take a picture of myself and compare the difference of my belly with baby #1 and baby #2 at exactly 17 weeks.

Status today: 17 weeks and 2 days

Weight: 139 (only gained 1 or 2 lbs since pregnant)...yup, I have no shame in sharing my weight with y'all.

    Cravings: None really..

Sickness: None!!! My baby girl has been treating me good. No sickness since gotten pregnant!

Mood: Feeling great, looking great!  just lazy somtimes....but that's with or without pregnancy.

Week 17 with Enzo:                                   Week 17 with Bucket:

    Week17_Side       Week17_Bucket_Side

hmmm from the comparison...my tummy is definitely a little more poutier with baby #2.

Here's a short video of when we found out Bucket is a GIRL....
